About Max Elwood

Max Elwood is the pen name for Danny Edwards, an Essex-based author and journalist whose first novel is Dark Waters.

 

As a journalist, Danny is the Co-Editor of shots Magazine, which covers the advertising and marketing business in which there are, thankfully, very few murders to inspire his crime fiction writing, but plenty of creative thinking to keep him on his toes.

 

Danny lives by the sea with his wife and two children and, when he's not reading, writing or watching his football team lose, he is invariably ferrying one or both of his aforementioned children to or from somewhere.
