About Max Elwood

I am an Essex-based author and journalist whose first novel is Dark Waters.

 

As a journalist, I mainly cover the advertising and marketing business in which there are, thankfully, very few murders to inspire my crime fiction writing, but plenty of creative thinking to keep me on my toes.

 

I live by the sea with my wife and two children and, when I'm not reading, writing or watching my football team lose, I am invariably ferrying one or both of my aforementioned children to or from somewhere.
